Summary:
Federal regulations implementing Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) require responsible public agencies providing for the education of children with disabilities within their jurisdiction to have in effect policies, procedures, and programs that are consistent with the state policies established under applicable federal regulations. This plan outlines the provision of special education services in the District.
