Summary:

Dr. Chris Miller, principal at Platte City Middle School, and Mr. Robert Mueller, assistant principal at Platte City Middle School, will introduce Theresa Robertson, PLTW instructor at PCMS, to the members of the Board of Education. Mrs. Robertson presented at the Smithsonian National Education Summit this July. The 2-day conference focused on sessions related to ELA, Social Studies, Science, SEL, and Culture with award winning authors, National Teachers of the Year, and many more. The presentation was a result of work Mrs. Robertson was invited to complete with teachers across the country, creating a guided inquiry unit. They wrote it, tested it, and the project was selected for a session at this national conference.
