Summary:
|
Platte County High School’s Project Lead the Way (PLTW) program provides a relevant, pre-engineering experience to students in grades 9-12. Students need access to real-world software applications that are used in the industry, and these applications require devices to meet certain specifications. PLTW International provides relevant specifications to all schools in its network.
The proposal from Eastern Data, Inc. was the low bid and met all required specifications. Eastern Data, Inc. was one of eight companies that bid on these devices as referenced in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
The total purchase price is $16,588.00 for six (6) desktops with monitors and five (5) laptops and is part of the replacement process. State Enhancement Grant funds will be used for this purchase as follows:
25% Local = $4147.00
75% State Enhancement Grant = $12441.00
