Summary:
|
This MOU covers our requirements related to Head Start. Head Start for our Platte and Clay Counties is on the Maple Woods Community College campus and the District is allocated spaces relative to our free/reduced lunch percentages and overall student population compared to the other districts served through that location. Historically, this has resulted in one spot for our school district in that program. As with other agencies servicing preschoolers, the District has an obligation to partner in finding students who may be eligible for services and identifying them, as well as collaborating on services. This MOU formalizes the roles in this partnership.
