Summary: NCC is requesting board approval to purchase a Tilt Skillet Braising Pan (gas) for our Culinary Department. This equipment will be acquired through a state enhancement grant, with 75% of the cost covered by the grant and the remaining 25% paid by NCC. We specifically require a tilt skillet that can be safely operated by one person and has the ability to lock in various positions. After reviewing available options, this particular model was the only one that met all of our safety requirements. Additionally, it will replace an outdated skillet for which replacement parts are no longer available.

Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the purchase of the Tilt Skillet Braising Pan (gas) for NCC's Culinary Department as submitted.
