Summary:
|
In support of the tenets of the foundational elements (Vision, Mission, Values) of the Platte County R-3 School District, the District strives to provide enhanced and expanded educational opportunities to its students.
The attached partnership agreement between Junior College District of Metropolitan Kansas City, Missouri (a/k/a Metropolitan Community College) and Platte County R-3 School District is presented to the Board of Education for consideration and approval. This agreement is proposed to offer academic courses and/or programs from Metropolitan Community College to PCR3 students including Early College Academy, dual credit and dual enrollment, college placement testing, and data sharing between the parties. The term of this agreement shall be from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024 (will automatically renew for three (3) one-year terms unless terminated).
(The PCR3 Vendor Data Privacy Assurances is a vendor data protection agreement requested by Platte County R-3 School District that will be executed in conjunction with the School District Partnership Agreement, if approved.)
