Summary:
|
NCC is requesting Board Approval to Purchase Equipment for Industrial Automation and Robotics. This is a Grant Purchase for a Fanuc Robot from a Single Source Supplier. This will be purchased with State enhancement grant funds with NCC paying 25% of the cost and the state grant the other 75%. . This will allow more than 2 students at a time to get valuable hands-on real life programming experience. Once students learn Fanuc Robotics and earn their certification, they can not only program most industry robots, but they can also easily transition to program other types of robots such as Nachi, ABB, Kuka, and many others used in industry.
