As part of the annual capital improvement plan, parking lot improvements were identified for Barry School. The Platte County R-3 School District advertised a Request for Proposal (RFP) on May 4, 2022 (see attached) to seek bids for paving and concrete improvements to the Barry site.
Three contractors submitted a bid on May 17, 2022. The attached bid tabulation provides a summary of the submitted bid results. A fourth bid was rejected as it missed the bid opening time.
The District worked with a civil engineer to identify estimated quantities for each of the categories (see map). The McConnell & Associates proposal includes sixteen (16) unit price bids (see attached).
